Upenn Spring Break 2023 – Marcus Autism Center, along with Emory University School of Medicine and Children’s Healthcare in Atlanta, offers six fellowships: Cohen Fellowship in Developmental Social Neuroscience, Simons Fellowship in Computational Neuroscience, Education Sciences Fellowship, Sally Provence Fellowship in Clinical Research, Roger Glass Fellowship in Implementation Science, and the David Satcher Fellowship for Community Engagement.

The Marcus Autism Center, in partnership with Emory University and Child Health Atlanta, has an immediate opening for a full-time Research Recruiter to support ongoing studies of child social development. This position is for applicants with a bachelor’s degree or higher with exceptional communication skills and a background or interest in participatory research and community engagement. The successful applicant will support recruitment for multiple longitudinal MRI studies of infants at high and low risk for autism spectrum disorders and will be a key point of first contact with families of potential participants. Primary responsibilities include communicating technical study information to families in non-technical language, screening potential participants for study eligibility, and initiating study enrollment. Other duties may include establishing recruitment sources, coordinating study visits, and assisting with data collection. Funding for this position is currently available for two years.
