At the end of each April, we celebrate the return of the sun, the trees in bloom, the warmer weather, and the end of the school year with the annual outdoor party that took place in Fleming Green this year. Will you be at the best festival this year?
Tickets are non-refundable. Student card holders MUST present a current and valid college ID at the entrance with the ticket. Tickets are NON-TRANSFERABLE.

You can buy tickets online at the ticket website, tickets. If you have never used tickets before, you will need to create an account after logging in with your netID password. All tickets issued will be electronic, can be printed or displayed on a mobile phone at the entrance. If you have technical difficulties, please contact upb@.

• Gates open at 12:30 and the music starts soon after. The sooner you arrive at the venue, the sooner you’ll get inside.

Students are looking forward to Spring Fest 2019, featuring A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Lil Baby and Kiana Ledé.
Last Monday, Student Body President Nicholas Singh announced in an email to students that Spring Fest will return for the first time since 2019 on April 30.
“Yes, of course,” Singh wrote in an email. “SPRING HOLIDAY HAS STARTED! We are trying to do not only a big open festival, but also two small exhibitions of different genres.”

But Singh did not mention the name or the type of artiste who might lead, despite less than three months away from the proposed date of the event.
In addition to the “big outdoor festival” planned, Singh also talked about plans for two smaller shows that focus on different genres of music, in contrast to the unknown type of Spring Fest headliners.
UB has not hosted spring or fall break since COVID-19 forced the switch to distance learning in March 2020, citing health and safety guidelines. Without giving a reason, Singh pointed out that the rules and regulations beyond the control of the electronic board of South Africa may interfere with the plans for the Spring Festival and other events organized by SA this time of the year.

“The Department of Recreation is doing everything possible to ensure that all the above events, as well as others, take place at this time of the year; however, this is a fluid situation,” Singh wrote. “As long as all the rules are still in place, this school will have events. If there are changes in the regulation, it may affect the planning and operation of these things.”
The annual Spring Fest UB has hosted a number of music legends over the past 20 years, including Mac Miller, The Chainsmokers and Wiz Khalifa.
Other frequent events mentioned in the email include the International Fiesta to be held on March 5; Spring Gala, scheduled for May 14; and an unnamed guest speaker with a set date of March 12. Singh said in an email that his team is “doing everything they can to bring a famous guest speaker to the school” that day.
