Summer School 2023 – The ESB Summer School takes place in the last three weeks of July and takes place in a different European city each year.

This year, Jean-Yves Esquerre offers our internationally sought-after summer school in the beautiful city of Rome. ESB hosts Art Village.

The ESB 2023 summer school will take place from July 17 to August 9. The classes will be led by an exceptional team of international ballet stars and teachers.

Application To The Icos Summer School 2023 In Hyytiälä

For the first time, an intensive nine-day program about the work of two important choreographers approaching the 20th century of their legacy. This course focuses on the technique and styles they developed over the years, emphasizing Bournonville’s unique style and its influence on Balanchine’s work. This influence made it possible to create a perfect bridge between French and Danish techniques at the turn of the century and his new style of ballet, which is still unrivaled today.

Available to practicing and aspiring dance education professionals, our Teaching Week is designed to provide guest teachers with an intensive and in-depth hands-on immersion in ESB and Bournonville and Balanchine teaching methods.

The program includes classroom and demonstration observations, interviews with international teachers and ESB directors, and offers its participants the opportunity to experience a unique teaching environment up close.

Turku Åbo Summer School

A new and unique workshop dedicated to ballet pianists in search of new techniques and techniques to improve their musical accompaniment. This 20-hour workshop, led by international master pianist Vinicio Colella, offers Monday-Saturday afternoons exploring the themes and repertoire of ballet classes.

Th Ifip Summer School On Privacy And Identity Management 2023

In the summer semester of 2023, the consortium will offer educational courses in the field of lexicography and dictionary research. These lessons can be taken as intensive courses at the Károli Gáspár University in Budapest (Hungary) within the Erasmus Mundus program “European Master in Lexicography ()”. The university provides excellent conditions for education and teaching. In addition, the city of Braga offers a great environment for various activities and a cultural program.

For each course, 10 free places are available for external participants; advance booking is required. The course lasts five days (Monday-Friday) with 26-28 teaching hours. Individual preparation and subsequent work for external participants is not required. Participants will receive confirmation of participation from individual lecturers and the consortium. External participants preferably gather knowledge and experience in linguistics, language, lexicography and/or dictionary creation to get the most out of these high-quality courses. The language of instruction will be German or English.

Participants can choose from 10 different intensive courses, where theoretical and practical lexicographic topics will be taught. For example, course topics can be transferred to current dictionary projects, so knowledge can be transferred to external lexicographic projects. The content of the course also includes basic lexicographical knowledge, which is necessary for the conceptualization of new projects. Furthermore, it will be possible to deepen the existing lexicographic knowledge. All professors and visiting lecturers are world-renowned experts in their fields of research.

We are looking for enthusiastic students or early-career scientists (max. 4 years post-MSc or PhD) with a strong interest in animal-free techniques working in relevant areas of research and application.
