Spring Break Schedule 2023 – NLPS is seeking comments on the 2022-2023 draft school calendar. The calendar was approved by the Board on December 10, 2021, and is now being shared with stakeholders for input.
The calendar includes 192 working days and 178 teaching days, similar to the 2021-2022 calendar. There are five days of professional development for employees including the annual Ignite employee conference

Feedback from stakeholders indicated support for Family Fridays and a preference for early dismissal days. The project schedule has five Fridays without school for students and staff and no early dismissal days.

Like previous calendars, the draft 2022-2023 school calendar includes four days off including Thanksgiving and Victoria Day, a two-week break for Christmas and a spring break to coincide with Easter.
