Rit Spring Break 2023
Beginning December 6, the Gordon Field Center & Services Center and the Hale-Andrews Student Life Center will be open 6 a.m.-8 p.m. on weekdays and 1-5 p.m. Saturday / Sunday. The Student Life Center and Field Center will close at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 23, 2022 and will reopen at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Starting December 6, the Red House will be open to the public, students, and teachers 4-9 pm on weekdays and 1-6 pm. Saturday / Sunday. The Red House will be closed on Friday, December 23, 2022 and will reopen on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 for regular business hours. Wallace on Ice, the temporary location of the Wallace Library at ter Ice Arena, will continue through the hours of Wednesday, December 14, 2022. After the final games are over, the library will open on Monday- Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. throughout the Winter Break, with the exception of the University’s holiday closing that begins at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2022 through Monday, January 2, 2023. The Corner Store is open with limited hours and closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day. After the new year, selected dining areas have limited hours and offer a limited menu.

All students living in the Residence Halls must complete a Semester End – Orientation Program. This form includes weekend tips, important information about being on campus during the break, and how to better serve our students during this time.
If you do not complete this form, you may experience problems with entering the purchase. If you indicate that you will not be on campus during the vacation, and you intend to return to campus by January 9, 2023, you must complete a self-assessment.
Students who are not returning for the spring semester must check into their Housing service by 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2022.

Air Force Opens Conference Play Against Rit After Earning First Win Last Week
Residence halls, Global Village, University Commons, Riverknoll, Perkins Green, Greek Circle, 175 Jefferson and the Inn will be open during the holiday. A professional staff member from the Residence Life Team will be on call throughout the holiday and can be reached by calling Social Security.
