These opportunities place our students in a global marketplace as they strategically apply classroom learning with peers, teachers, and administrators.

New York Institute Of Technology

NYIT offers a range of graduate scholarships to qualified students enrolled in our graduate programs. Depending on their skills and experience and the needs of the specific program, graduate assistants may seek help in one of three categories: graduate assistantship, research assistantship, and teaching assistantship. Graduate assistants provide partial tuition at a school or NYIT department in exchange for a set number of hours per week.

Some career options for our students after graduation include becoming a banker, business consultant, entrepreneur, real estate manager and businessman.

Pirates Win, Rutkowski Keeps Rolling At Nyit

The NYIT College of Orthopedic Medicine (COM) offers a unique program to retrain immigrant physicians born and trained outside the United States to become Doctors of Orthopedics (D.O.). COM is the only medical school in the United States to offer this program and it is only available on our Long Island (Old Westbury, NY) campus.

A new application with an updated curriculum vitae or curriculum vitae is required each year. If you have submitted an official WES or Globe Curriculum Assessment and/or an official TOEFL score report for the 2022 application cycle, you do not need to resubmit it for the 2023 application cycle. If you retake the TOEFL exam and score higher, you must submit an updated official score. Check your TOEFL scores to make sure the test is less than two years old at the time of application. Letters of recommendation must not be more than two years old at the time of the new application.
