, a new program from AMA Pittsburgh designed to quickly (and affordably) equip marketers and event professionals with relevant and practical skills in a meaningful and memorable cohort experience. Iup Spring 2023 Schedule
As technologies and expertise continue to evolve, so do the disciplines and industries behind them. The future professional is both a marketer and an event manager, and can sit between these two overlapping skill sets. To address this need for professionals with multiple skill sets, AMA Pittsburgh and Indiana University of Pennsylvania have partnered to provide two unique concentration tracks, each designed for designers and marketers.

The 4-part event management track bridges the gap between events and marketing. Intended for students and marketing professionals.
Designed for event managers, the 4-part marketing track reinforces the core skills they bring to their work and enhances them by layering on basic and advanced marketing concepts and practices.
If you are a marketer who needs to develop your event management skills, this is the track for you. Apply your marketing skills to engaging event projects and literally show the world how talented you are.
Arab American University
If you are a practicing designer who needs to develop your marketing skills, this is the course for you. Apply your design skills in a marketing context and advance your career.
AMA Momentum badges are issued by AMA Pittsburgh and can be verified by employers to confirm your participation in the program.
Both concentration tracks of the Momentum program run concurrently and take place in four sessions on Tuesday evenings throughout the month of February. Each session is three hours. All sessions are conducted via Zoom.

Indiana University of Pennsylvania will admit most new, transfer and continuing students into residence for the fall semester Thursday through Sunday.

The transition to the university officially began Aug. 11, with student-athletes, tenured assistants, marching band members and guidance counselors returning to campus earlier this month.
About 200 students moved into the College Graduate Early Enrollment Program (CUSP) last weekend. Sponsored by the Department of Developmental Studies, CUSP gives freshmen a head start on the college experience and adjustment process.
Around 80 international students will move into residence today. Two days of welcome events and orientation are planned for these students, including a tour of the Indiana community. Each year, IUP admits about 800 students from about 60 countries.

From 8 a.m. to noon Thursday, students will move into Susan S. Delaney Hall, MG Rodney D. Ruddock Hall and Whitmyre Hall. From noon to 4 p.m. that day, students will move into Donna D. Putt Hall and Suites in Maple East.
From 8am to 1pm on Friday, students will move into Northern Suites, Wallwork and Maple East.
The remaining new and transfer students will move into Wallwork Hall, Andrew W. Stephenson Hall, Northern Suites, Suites on Pratt and Ruddock Hall. Returning students will move into their housing on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Students are given staggered arrival times shown on their board tags so that transfer activity is spread throughout the day. As in years past, arriving students and their families will be directed to the stage in the Miller Stadium parking lot and then dropped into their respective building.
About 200 volunteers, including members of student organizations, will help as pallbearers. IUP police officers, faculty and students from various offices are active during move-in days to help students feel welcome.
In addition, nearly 100 resident assistants, graduate and professional residence hall staff will work in the residence halls to welcome and assist students and their families. According to Valerie Baroni, professionals from the Office of Public Safety, the Center for Student Life and the Office of Housing, Life and Dining began preparing procedures, signs, schedules and publications for move-in day last spring semester. , director of lodging and dining. Learn about the many ways we ensure and support student success. The experience includes sessions covering a variety of college topics – choose the ones that interest you the most.
As a student accepted into certain fine arts majors, you will audition (music and musical theater majors) or submit your art portfolio (arts majors). Click below to learn more.
It consists of a question-and-answer session with admissions representatives and current students, followed by a virtual campus tour presented live by current students. The entire event (Q&A and tour) will last approximately one hour.
Cosc 300 Assembly Language Programming
Hoping for a sneak peek? In a dormitory, dining hall, academic building, library, oak grove, etc. tour the campus through videos and photos with stops. If you can’t make it to campus, this is a great tour with students leading the tour. If you’re on campus but can’t make it to a scheduled tour, this can be your guide.
Talk to a representative at one of the many college fairs we visit in cities across Pennsylvania and other states. Check the schedule to see when and where the fairs are held.
