The public is encouraged to cast their vote for the Iowa State Patrol boat this Thursday, August 25th. The first 12 states to receive votes in the contest will be featured in the 2023 AAST cruiser calendar.
Proceeds from the sale of the calendar will benefit the American Academy of Pediatrics, which provides scholarships for dependent members.
Iowa State Patrol Seeks A Spot In The 2023 Aast Cruiser Calendar
The AAST Calendar Contest rewards creative and effective photography in an effort to help improve the lives and careers of soldiers across the country. This year, well-known Des Moines photographer Mirza Kudic photographed a Dodge Iowa State Patrol car depicting the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines.

The Iowa Department of Public Safety () is the state’s largest law enforcement agency. Goodguys 2023 Schedule Features New Format To Include Additional Cities
“Students from across campus have many opportunities to develop their problem-solving skills, work with diverse teams and validate their ideas at ISU,” said David Spalding, dean of the Ivy College of Business at Reisbeck and acting vice president for economic development and Integration of the industry.
Students of all majors can collaborate, design, build and test their ideas in the new Student Innovation Center. The state-of-the-art facility is a mobile hub with a creative space for Cyclones to learn new things, whether it’s 3D printing, making chocolate or experimenting with virtual reality. The center is also home to the Innovate 1858 store, which showcases the products of student entrepreneurs, and Sparks Café, a student coffee shop.
Students can submit their business ideas and win cash prizes in competitions each spring and fall semester with the ISU Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship. The center also runs the CYstarters summer incubator and the CyBIZ Lab student outreach program.
Development Projects To Watch In Ames, Iowa, In 2022
CYstarters, an 11-week program, provides resources and accountability for students with business ideas. Students continue to work on their business throughout the academic year at the Center’s Center for Entrepreneurship in the Center for Creative Innovation. Experienced professionals are also connected to mentors through the Executive Services Program.
CyBIZ Lab recruits 25-35 students per semester to handle business and organizational projects. Professional Teams Our experienced professionals have completed 285 projects to date for start-ups, non-profits, small and medium businesses and international companies, government organizations and university institutions. Students learn the importance of project management, teamwork, research, leadership and presentation skills while delivering valuable results to clients.

Isu Alumni Association Calendar
Last month, the Center received the 2022 Nasdaq Center of Entrepreneurial Excellence Award for schools with more than 5,000 students. This prestigious award was created by Nasdaq in partnership with the World Business Institute to recognize the exceptional achievements and efforts of business organizations around the world.
Selection criteria include depth of institution and depth of programs and contributions to the development of business education.Cyclone Aids is a group of respected student leaders who welcome more than 7,000 new Cyclones to campus. These student guides help guide new students, families and visitors during one- and two-day orientation sessions throughout the year. Additionally, Cyclone Aides provide leadership through the planning and implementation of Destination State Iowa. Cyclone Aids has a big impact on new students in the summer and welcomes new students in the fall and spring semesters.
