Donna Summer 2023 – Donna Summer, born December 31, 1948, was an American singer, songwriter and pianist. Summer was born into a devout Christian family in Boston, Massachusetts. She got into music by singing in church choirs and later joined groups influenced by the Motown Sound. After moving to Munich, Germany, she married Helmut Sommer and worked in various theaters producing musicals, such as the German version of “Hair”.
