Cu Boulder Calendar Spring 2023 – A new event series on ARTS, ACTIVISM, and PEOPLE is currently scheduled for Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 in Boulder. This event series is developed and supported by several institutions at CU Boulder, including the WRITE Lab/Writing and Rhetoric Program, the College of Arts and Sciences and the Office of Equity, Equity, Diversity and A&S. log in; Department of English; Department of Student Affairs; American Music Research Center; Museum of Art; Department of Ethnic Studies; Humanities and Arts Center; and the Center for African and African American Studies. Through a series of performances, speaking engagements, workshops, and community collaborations, this event series aims to enhance inclusive humanities education and engagement at CU Boulder and the greater community. Applied Humanities is an interdisciplinary effort to develop inclusive, interdisciplinary, communities, and institutions through research, teaching, and creative projects that engage the public. This event series promotes interest in the humanities, arts (digital storytelling, spoken word, music, poetry, dance, printmaking), activism, and engaging conversation and demonstration among students, staff, faculty, and local community members. Hopes. can come together to form a powerful collective for a more just future.

Freshmen should meet with an assigned freshman advisor (Kira or Paige) during their first academic year for their advising needs.
Upon completion of the first year, students will transition to a major or disciplinary advisor for future academic support.
