Pioneer Student Athletes Named To Ccaa Spring Academic Honor Roll
Dr. Yuan is currently an Assistant Professor of Clinics and Administration at the American University School of Medicine. Dr. Yuan brings extensive medical practice and medical consulting experience in both psychiatric hospitals and retail pharmacies specializing in clinical psychology for adolescents and adults and psychiatry.
As an experienced clinical pharmacist, Dr. Yuan has worked as a pharmacy director and clinical pharmacist in a psychiatric hospital for over 11 years. Prior to working as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital, he also had many years of experience working as a pharmacist and pharmacy manager in a retail pharmacy. Dr. Yuan to Pharm.D. Students and pharmacy residents from many pharmacy schools for over 13 years.
Dr. Yuan has extensive experience in pharmacy management, both in the setting up of acute psychiatric hospitals and in retail settings. She specializes in practice management, clinical protocol development, policy and procedure development, best practice practice, and student / pharmacy development.

Biologist Fazil Bhai holds a PhD from Western University of Health Sciences and a Master of Science degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He is a registered pharmacist in California and is also licensed as a pharmacist. He is board-certified in pharmacotherapy and currently works as a clinical pharmacist at Aurora Charter Oak Hospital in Covina, CA. He also holds an AAHIVP certification and has worked in the field of HIV medicine in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Dr. Hahn brings more than 10 years of community practice, pharmacy management, and drug management experience to the pharmacy school. Prior to joining, Dr. Hahn was in pharmacy practice, working closely with pharmacies and independent physicians to develop methods for drug administration and regulatory compliance. He has run many pharmacies and has trained many interns and pharmacists who have become successful pharmacy managers. Dr. Hahn has been active in educating the elderly about drug adherence, chronic conditions and the benefits of Medicare Part D prescription drugs. She also provides medication management at various senior institutions. Dr. Han is currently a member of the American Pharmacists Association of California.

Dr. Hussain did his PhD. Medicine from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the Texas Tech Center for Health Sciences in Amarillo, TX and B.S. At the pharmacy from Kakatiya University, India. Prior to joining, Dr. Hussain served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Louisiana and Oklahoma. He has taught various courses to both the medical profession and graduate students, including but not limited to pharmaceuticals, pharmacy, pharmacy, pharmacy, pharmacy, drug delivery and advanced targeting, pharmaceutical technology, microbiology, medicine and biotechnology. He also taught M.S. And PhD students throughout their careers.
Dr. Hussain’s research interests are primarily in the areas of protein absorption and peptide delivery. He is currently researching ways to improve the absorption of drugs in animals in the laboratory by non-invasive methods and mechanisms for the transport of macromolecules in vitro. Dr. Hussain also loves student learning and applies innovative teaching and learning methods in the classroom and in the laboratory. He has been active in the field of education and scholarships since joining in 2020.

In terms of leadership experience, Dr. Hussain is a former director of the Department of General Education. He currently serves as the Dean’s Assistant for Student Affairs and Admissions for the School of Medicine.
