And unlike most you’ll find around town, this one is completely free if you bring your own skates. Skate rentals range from $15 to $45, and storage and bag checking services are available for a hassle-free session. They even offer private and small group lessons for all levels of skating, which is great if you either want to try something new or want to improve your technique. And as an added bonus, get 10% off skates if you have a Bank of America card. However, it is very busy, so booking online is highly recommended.

And when you finally finish skating, you can choose where to rest. There is the Amazon Video sponsored lodge with many bars and small restaurants. Even better, you can skate while enjoying Bryant Park’s spectacular Christmas tree, located at the western end of the rink. This year they chose a 90 year old, 55 foot tall Norway spruce from the small town of Lloyd, NY. It arrives in New York on November 19

Bryant Park’s Winter Village is open Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. You can visit the rink anytime between 8am and 10pm, except on certain weekends and public holidays.
