Young: I started doing radio in high school at St. John the Baptist in West Islip. BLI was my home station growing up and when I was about 13 I got the radio bug. When I found out my high school had a train station, I thought, “How cool is that?” I thought. And decided to join! Fast forward and I’m working at the station I grew up with! It’s an unreal experience and one you wouldn’t trade for the world. My advice to anyone starting out in radio today is the same advice I always give.
